South African General Election, 2014

Election Date: May 7, 2014

The South African General Election of 2014 elected all 400 members of the National Assembly, the lower chamber of the Parliament, which was the 5th election held in the country under conditions of universal suffrage since the end of the apartheid. It was also the first time that South African expatriates were allowed to vote in a South African national election.
