Chamber of Deputies
The Chamber of Deputies (Majlis al-Nuwaab) of Jordan is the lower house of the country's bicameral National Assembly (Majlis al-'Umma) with 130 seats. 115 members are directly elected in single- and multi-seat constituencies by open-list proportional representation vote. 15 seats are reserved for women, 12 seats are reserved for Christian, Chechen, and Circassian candidates. Members serve 4-year terms.
